Albany Psychological Associates has been providing psychological services to the Capital District since 1986. Licensed psychologists and social workers provide individual counseling services to adults, adolescents, and children, as well as family and couples therapy.

Albany Psychological Associates delivers assessment and counseling services for the concerns that confront individuals and families today. These include marital and relationship problems, child-rearing concerns, separation and divorce, bereavement and other major life transitions. Albany Psychological Associates also provides treatment for patients with more serious emotional disorders including depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and psychological complications of medical conditions.

Specialists provide services for post-trauma reactions and children's behavior and academic problems. We also provide evaluation services encompassing assessment and testing for both forensic and education purposes. These can include evaluations for both criminal and civil matters, as well as related to school performance and special needs.
